Speed Media Direct to Garment (DTG) printing 101
So, Whats the skinny on Direct to Garment (DTG) apparel printing?
Direct to garment printing offers a cost effective solution for your small volume & one off apparel needs. A direct to garment printer is essentially a larger version of your desktop printer setup specifically for printing on various type of fabrics for the apparel industry. Since the apparel is directly printed on, there isn't a need for screens, color separations or the large upfront costs of screen & artwork setup & inventory associated with the traditional screen printing methods. DTG prints are full color digital prints much like that of a photograph.
There are many pros & cons of DTG printing:
– extensive color options
– can print detailed designs and photographs
– ideal for small batches and one-offs
-minimal upfront investment
– not cost-effective for extremely large batches
– limited design placement
Still have questions or an order over a quantity of 24 that you'd rather do in the traditional screen printing method? No problem, contact us for a personalized quote for your next screen printed apparel project.

1.) Select desire color, size & qty(s)
2.) Press the "Personalize design" button.
3.) Upload your graphic file to replace the placeholder image.
4.) Add to cart, checkout and wait for your special delivery to arrive typically in 5-10 business days.

How do I know if my artwork is setup correctly?
Uploaded image must be a .png file format, in rgb color mode @300dpi. Max size for full front or back designs is 12" wide x 16" tall. for best results center your artwork within those dimensions with a transparent background so the shirt color shows thru the graphic in the unprinted areas.
